Join us in one or both of our Bible studies for women this summer!
Espresso with Esther
"Espresso with Esther" helps women consider how God has everything, including perfect timing, in His control and how this truth can dramatically affect our outlook.
When we think of bad girls of the Bible, the usual culprits such as Jezebel and Rahab come to mind. Esther isn't usually on the short list, yet she blended so well with the culture around her that no one could tell she was one of God's people. Still, Esther goes on to become a great heroine, proving that anyone with the courage to follow God can be used to accomplish great things.
Explore God's grace through Esther's story in this six-week study, which contains Monday through Friday Bible study questions, along with devotional thoughts for lighter reading on the weekends.

The Book of James: Living by Faith in a Secular World
Do you think the first-century churches were full of godly people who had no problems relating to their world? The Book of James shows that they ahd problems with favoritism, gossiping and other misuses of the tongue, worldly wisdom and patience in suffering, just to name a few.
Just a few years after the church was born, James wrote a letter addressing the problem of Christians who fail to live out their theology and faith. James had a practical pupose for writing this letter - to lead Christians to reject secular values and to live instead by genuine Christian values. This letter had great relevance for us as we sturggle with the temptations of a secular culture.
In our study together, we will study James's letter as an attempt to:
- know God more deeply
- understand what God says about how we are to live
- and practice some Bible study methods for personal study of God's word
- homework will be Bible reading and completion of a handout each week
- nursery available upon request
