Getting Started
Perhaps you're new to our church and you want to get started, connect, and grow in your new found faith or recently rekindled faith in Jesus. Where do I start?
- Newcomer Coffees are often the first place for newcomers to meet other new people and few of those people who have called this their church home for a while. It's an informal time for coffee and to receive a quick overview of all the ministries and programs of this growing church.
- Sept. 24, Oct. 22, Dec. 3, Jan. 21, Mar. 11, May 6 - in the Library.
There are two short classes that are great places begin your spiritual journey:
- Christianity 101 is a six week class covering the basics of living life with God. Learn where to begin reading the Bible; hear simple suggestions regarding prayer; what to do if you're serious about living for God, but still blow it from time to time; and other topics for newbies in Christ.
- You're welcome to jump in anytime, however, new classes begin September 10 and January 28 - in the Library.
- Christianity 201 is a six week class that helps you find your place, your personal fit, within this group of Christians called the church. Discover how your abilities, past experiences, and your unique spiritual talents can be used to help others. Those who exercise this giftedness find themselves very fulfilled.
- You're welcome to jump in anytime, however, new classes begin
October 29 and March 18 - in the Library.
Adult Communities are groups that meet on Sunday mornings. They are great places to get started, just find a group that matches your life stage. |
