Mike Neely

Mike Neely is currently Lead Pastor at Highland Park Evangelical Free Church in Columbus, Nebraska, where he has served for nearly 14 years. He has also been the pastor of churches in Aurora, Nebraska and Green River, Utah, as well as a Bible teacher and dorm parent at Nebraska Christian Schools. He is happily married to his high school sweetheart of 32 years.

Mike completed his Bible degree at Western Bible College in Denver and his graduate degree at Moody Graduate School in Chicago; but values most highly the instruction he has received from the Word of God and godly mentors. He says that his most impressive credential, though, is his family. His wife, Mickee is a successful mother, mentor to mothers and a part-time realtor.

His daughter, Micole, is a Physician Assistant in Phoenix and married to Simon, who works for U.S. Airways. His son, Micah, is a student at UNO and Trinity Bible College online who has lived in China and has a heart for International Students and Bible translation. His youngest son, Morgan, is a remodeling contractor in Columbus who loves racing motorcross and living life at full throttle.

They have expanded their family over the past 9 years to include several babies and their single mothers. They are currently completing the adoption of Katelin Joy. They are also reuniting W.D. - a boy whom they brought home from the hospital as an infant the day before Katee arrived - and the birth mother they have been discipling.

Mike enjoys many outdoor sports for soul refreshment and getting on the racquetball court with those who face it like a war rather than a game. Mickee enjoys all things connected with home and house including hosting hospitality events.
